Julia Jones is an artist living in Central Ohio, and primarily works in oil, acrylic, and charcoal. Julia has always had an innate sensitivity to the world around us, and a desire to communicate her unique perspective through artistic expression. In 2019, she committed to bringing her creations to life through pursuing art education at the Art Students League of Denver and artist-led workshops. She gravitated toward painting from life whether it be the human figure, portraits, or plein air landscapes. There is an immediacy to painting from life that allows her to transcend everyday concerns and create wholeheartedly in the present moment.
